| dc.description.abstract | La medicina forense en una rama encargada de ayudar a esclarecer la causa de muerte lo cual es fundamental al momento de la investigación de delitos en los que no se tiene claro el mecanismo del deceso. La radiología es una herramienta fundamental durante este proceso ya que puede brindar la posibilidad tanto de identificación del cuerpo independientemente del estado de descomposición en que se encuentre, como también recolección de elemento y material probatorio los cuales pueden ser utilizados por el personal encargado de la investigación, todos estos elementos son protegidos por la cadena de custodia la cual comienza desde el primer momento en que el personal investigativo entra en contacto con el cadáver. | |

Radiology is a fundamental tool during this process since it can provide the possibility of both identification of the body regardless of the state of decomposition in which it is found, as well as collection of evidence and evidence which can be used by the personnel in charge of the investigation. All these elements are protected by the chain of custody which begins from the first moment that the investigative staff comes into contact with the body. | |
