| dc.description.abstract | El centro agropecuario Marengo de propiedad de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, ubicado en el municipio de Mosquera - Cundinamarca, en el Km 14 de la vía Mosquera, cuenta con diferentes unidades productivas agrícolas, pecuarias y
agroindustriales. el lugar cuenta con 94 hectáreas y gracias a las diferentes actividades que allí se desarrollan hoy en día es una producción
autosostenible, contando con diferentes unidades productivas como: cultivos, bovinos, ovinos, aves, apicultura, porcicultura, siendo esta ultima el objeto de estudio del presente informe. el centro Agropecuario Marengo ha servido a los estudiantes de carreras afines con la ruralidad tener su lugar propio para desarrollar de manera profunda diferentes practicas relacionadas con el campo en pro de su aprendizaje, para el caso del presente informe teniendo conceptos claros del manejo zootécnico que se le da a un porcino desde su nacimiento hasta completar el ciclo, siendo su disposición final: proteína de origen animal para consumo humano. teniendo en cuenta una serie de parámetros de
gran importancia al momento de buscar que dicha producción pueda desarrollarse de acuerdo a los diferentes criterios de implementación para las buenas practicas porcícolas (BPP)
establecidos por el ICA según la norma ISO 14000 del 2015. Buscando la inocuidad de la carne por medio de las buenas practicas de manejo, procurando las mejores medidas de bioseguridad y un alto valor en cuanto al bienestar animal, para poder entregar un producto de la mejor calidad al mercado y así
mismo enseñar a los estudiantes la importancia de la calidad en el cuidado y respeto hacia los animales partiendo desde esa base
para lograr cumplir con los parámetros que dictan que una producción se encuentra en optimas condiciones para ser certificada. | |
