For this, the Delphi descriptive methodology was used using two rounds of interviews with 18 experts, which belong to the associations and include public policies that orient people towards the dairy sector as an ideal means to identify in their knowledge best practices BPA and BPM in the context of sustainable development and adoption of environmental programs to mitigate negative impacts. Then, the results found, identified that the community recognizes the parameters of sustainable development from the environmental, economic and social point of view, which, favor the competitiveness in the enterprises. Afterward, interviewees do not know the sustainable development methodologies, the 17 sustainable development goals and how to implement the goals in order to adapt the production system. However, the experts develop activities from their scope such as recycling, the care of water sources, the conservation of forests and the work of associations to improve the conditions in their ventures. Finally, the governmental bodies have proposed a municipal development plan under the objectives of sustainable development, but the articulation with the associations is not evident, in order to generate the organizational structure that allows the implementation of a model that is adapted to the needs of the communities.     Abstract
    El objetivo de la investigación fue indagar el conocimiento previo que tenían emprendedores rurales del sector lechero del municipio de Chocontá, Cundinamarca, para poder fortalecer, por medio de estrategias de sostenibilidad alternativas, la cadena de valor del sector lechero. Para ello, se empleó la metodología descriptiva Delphi utilizando dos rondas de entrevistas a 18 personas expertas, que pertenecen a las asociaciones que comprenden las políticas públicas que orienta el municipio hacia el sector lácteo como medio idóneo para identificar en sus conocimientos mejores prácticas BPA y BPM bajo el contexto de desarrollo sostenible y adopción de programas medio ambientales para mitigar los impactos negativos. Los resultados hallados, identificaron que la comunidad reconoce los parámetros del desarrollo sostenible desde el punto de vista medioambiental, económico y social, los cuales, favorecen la competitividad en los emprendimientos. Sin embargo, los entrevistados desconocen las metodologías de desarrollo sostenible, los 17 objetivos de desarrollo sostenible y la forma de implementación de los objetivos para poder adecuar el sistema productivo. No obstante, los expertos desarrollan actividades desde su alcance como el reciclaje, el cuidado de fuentes hídricas, la conservación de bosques y el trabajo asociativo para mejorar las condiciones en sus emprendimientos. Finalmente, los entes gubernamentales, tienen planteado un plan de desarrollo
