    Abstract

This article presents a part of the results of the Special Research Project -PIE, called "Analysis of the process of internationalization of the economy in the income of the rural population in Colombia, as the basis of a social protection policy in the rural sector" which includes the evolution of the main agricultural subsectors (rice, coffee, sugar cane and cocoa), in which the data reported in the National Administrative Department of Statistics -DANE and producer associations are used.
