Big Data is a term that describes the large volume of data, both structured and unstructured, that floods businesses on a daily basis. It is not the amount of data that is important, the importance of Big Data is what organizations do or can do with the data, better decisions and strategic business moves and included limit the personals liberties. The purpose of this article was to confirm from the different theoretical postulates how Big data is an essential tool to increase the competitive advantage of the organization.  In keeping with the purpose of this paper, the development of the document focused on showing how the massive use of Big Data has been becoming a very effective way for some leading companies to outperform their peers in the market. In most industries, both established competitors and new entrants are leveraging data-driven strategies to innovate, compete and capture value, and increase big data bases about of personal information of the common people.   Based on the above considerations, the study was approached methodologically as a type of desk research with a qualitative approach.     Abstract
    En este artículo el término Organización se refiere al Estado, a una Iglesia, una empresa, una Universidad, un grupo social, étnico, cultural, político, etc. En la actualidad, el Big Data, representa un importante valor competitivo para las Organizaciones. El término describe el gran volumen de datos, tanto estructurados como no estructurados, que inunda la vida diaria, con los cuales se buscan regularidades para hallar información con la cual se puedan realizar inferencias o predicciones. No es la cantidad de datos lo significativo, la importancia del  Big Data está en lo que las organizaciones hagan o puedan hacer con los datos, mejores decisiones y movimientos  estratégicos, incluso incidir en la vida individual del público. El artículo tuvo como objetivo confirmar de los diferentes postulados teóricos como el Big data constituye una herramienta esencial para incrementar la ventaja competitiva de la organización, a su vez, que se diluye masivamente por el entorno privado de las comunidades.   En atención a la finalidad de este escrito, el desarrollo del documento se centró en mostrar cómo el uso masivo del Big Data se ha venido convirtiendo en una forma muy eficaz para que algunas empresas líderes puedan superar a sus pares del mercado. En la mayoría de los sectores, tanto los competidores establecidos como los nuevos participantes aprovechan las estrategias basadas en datos para innovar, competir, capturar valor y conformar enormes bases de datos con información sensible de personas del común.  Sobre la base de las consideraciones anteriores, el estudio se abordó metodológicamente como un tipo de investigación documental con un enfoque cualitativo.
