dc.description.abstract	La práctica y uso precario del inglés como segunda lengua en Colombia, la posiciona en el cuarto país donde menos se aprende y domina el idioma según los últimos resultados del Índice del Dominio del inglés (EPI, por sus siglas en inglés, 2021) de la firma Education First. Por su parte Colombia tiene un reconocimiento positivo en el deporte del patinaje, mostrándose este como una gran potencia a nivel mundial. El presente trabajo busca reconocer la necesidad y oportunidad que hay en agrupar dichas disciplinas haciendo uso del contexto de la Escuela de Patinaje Resilient Rollers, buscando la reconciliación entre el inglés y la sociedad colombiana. En el presente proyecto de investigación dentro del marco del diplomado Práctica e Investigación Pedagógica, se aplicó la investigación acción participativa, haciendo uso de la observación cualitativa en el contexto de la Escuela de Patinaje Resilient Rollers y por otro lado la documentación cualitativa, relacionado con el planteamiento problema. Permitiendo evidenciar y analizar los resultados arrojados donde se concluye que estos son el inicio para seguir fomentando la práctica de las dos disciplinas por el aporte inconmensurable que estas traen a los individuos y a la sociedad a través de la interdisciplinariedad, no solo a niños, niñas y adolescentes quienes hacían parte del grupo poblacional a investigar en un inicio si no a adultos también, quienes se unieron posteriormente a la comunidad Resilient Rollers.

dc.description.abstractenglish	The precarious practice and use of English as a second language in Colombia, positions it as the fourth country where the language is least learned and mastered according to the latest results (2021) of the English Proficiency Index (EPI), from the firm Education First. Conversely, Colombia has a positive recognition in the sport of rollerblading, showing itself as a great power worldwide; The current work seeks to recognize the need and opportunity to group and arrange these disciplines using the context of the Resilient Rollers rollerblading school, seeking reconciliation between English and Colombian society. In this research project within the framework of the Pedagogical Practice and Research diploma course, participatory action research was applied, making use of qualitative observation in the context of the Resilient Rollers rollerblading school and, secondly, qualitative documentation, reviewing what was already researched in relation to the problem statement. Allowing to demonstrate and analyze the results obtained where it is concluded that these are the beginning to continue promoting the practice of the two disciplines due to the immeasurable contribution that they bring to individuals and society through interdisciplinarity, not only to children and adolescents who were part of the population group to be investigated initially, but to adults as well, who later joined the Resilient Rollers community.
