| dc.description.abstract | Para llevar a cabo el desarrollo de la verificación de los requisitos para obtener la certificación de las BPP ( Buenas Prácticas Pecuarias) se realiza una visita al criadero Ovino J.C ubicado en el municipio de Tenjo Cundinamarca. El criadero tiene como finalidad la venta de corderos para el pie de cría ya que este es reconocido por ser pionero en animales de excelente calidad genética, además de la venta y comercialización de ovinos para obtención de carne y piel para el caso de los ovinos de raza Dorper que son los predominantes en la granja. Esta raza es apetecida por su característica de rusticidad y de su fácil manutención a bajo precio. | |

Tenjo - Cundinamarca Criadero J.C In order to obtain good quality products for the consumer, it is necessary to establish measures that guarantee the traceability and safety of foods, such as sheep meat and other products of this species that are required. Under the BPP (Good Livestock Practices), animal welfare parameters are managed where in addition to seeking to provide good treatment, it is guaranteed to prevent diseases, carry out management of the different activities of production and, very importantly, the prevention of diseases that could occur affecting the final product. In this way, for this type of production, certain criteria are established that are according to the type of management and the purpose of the production that will lead to the adequate development of the productive processes such as the maintenance of fences, nutritional and food management that provides the nutritional requirements. for each productive stage, reproductive management according to the needs of the farm, carefully carrying out the use of records, sanitary management of the herd and something very important, in addition to being a sustainable production, it must be responsible with the environment. | |
