dc.description.abstract	La investigación se centra en cómo las artes plásticas pueden ser utilizadas como herramienta pedagógica para potenciar el aprendizaje y desarrollo integral de los estudiantes en el aula, mediante un enfoque cualitativo, se recolectaron datos de la institución educativa María Inmaculada en el grado de preescolar. Los resultados mostraron que la integración de las artes plásticas en la enseñanza promueve una mayor participación y motivación por parte de los estudiantes. Se evidenció que las actividades artísticas favorecen la creatividad, la expresión emocional y la construcción de habilidades cognitivas. Además, estas actividades facilitan la comprensión de conceptos abstractos, fomentan el pensamiento crítico y mejoran las habilidades de resolución de problemas. También se observó que las artes plásticas pueden ser utilizadas como una herramienta transversal, beneficiando no solo la educación artística sino también áreas como las matemáticas, las ciencias y las humanidades, mediante la integración de proyectos interdisciplinarios. Las artes plásticas no solo ofrecen una oportunidad para el desarrollo artístico y creativo, sino que también son una herramienta pedagógica valiosa para fortalecer el aprendizaje y desarrollo integral de los estudiantes en diversas áreas del conocimiento. Incorporarlas en el aula es esencial para formar individuos holísticamente preparados para enfrentar los retos del siglo XXI.
