| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de esta investigación fue Promover el Desarrollo de Huertas Caseras como herramienta de seguridad alimentaria en el marco del desarrollo sostenible en el barrio San Miguel del corregimiento de Mariangola, Cesar. Asimismo, esta investigación busca dar respuesta a la siguiente pregunta problema: ¿Qué condiciones resultan óptimas para el desarrollo de las huertas caseras como una herramienta que garantice el desarrollo sostenible en el corregimiento de Mariangola, Cesar?; para lograr dar respuesta se emplea una metodología de investigación que cuenta con un diseño no experimental transeccional, descriptivo con un estudio de enfoque mixto, una muestra de 32 familias y como técnicas de recolección de información el instrumento Escala Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Seguridad Alimentaria y la aplicación de entrevistas semiestructuradas.
De acuerdo a los resultados de dicha investigación se encuentra que un 46,88% de las familias presenta una seguridad alimentaria leve, así como un 28,13% presenta una seguridad alimentaria severa y un 21,88% indica tener seguridad alimentaria moderada; porcentajes que posteriormente permiten dar respuesta al objetivo central, donde se realizó una serie de actividades para la realización de una huerta casera por cada familia participante, logrando así instalar una herramienta que promueve la seguridad alimentaria y garantiza un indicador de desarrollo sostenible a futuro. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of this research was to Promote the Development of Home Gardens as a food security tool within the framework of the sustainable development of the town of Mariangola, Cesar. With a research methodology with a non-experimental transectional, descriptive design with a mixed approach study, a sample of 32 families and as information collection techniques the Latin American and Caribbean Food Security Scale instrument and the application of semi-structured interviews.
According to the results of this research, it is found that 46.88% of the families have mild food security, as well as 28.13% have severe food security and 21.88% indicate having moderate food security; percentages that subsequently allow us to respond to the central objective, where a series of activities were carried out to create a home garden for each participating family, thus managing to install a tool that promotes food security and guarantees an indicator of sustainable development in the future. | |
