| dc.description.abstract | La radioterapia como tratamiento para varios tipos de cáncer y los avances tecnológicos han hecho que el tratamiento del cáncer sea más eficaz, preciso y más fácil de administrar.
La seguridad, es un factor fundamental para la reducción de los efectos adversos debido a que estos permiten cuidar la integridad física del paciente. Como parte del objetivo de la investigación es evaluar la seguridad y precisión en la administración de tratamientos contra el cáncer mediante técnicas de radiología y radioterapia en Colombia.
La metodología que se utilizó en este estudio fue de tipo documental con un enfoque cualitativo, teniendo en cuenta que la información suministrada fue obtenida de fuentes secundarias, páginas de internet y artículos científicos. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | Radiation therapy as a treatment for several types of cancer and technological advances have made cancer treatment more effective, precise and easier to administer. Safety is a fundamental factor for reducing adverse effects that allows taking care of the patient's physical integrity. As part of the objective of the research, it is to evaluate the safety and precision in the administration of cancer treatments using radiology and radiotherapy techniques in Colombia. The methodology used in this study was documentary in nature, since the research provided was determined by secondary sources or by reviews of information provided by the Internet and with a qualitative approach. To conclude, one of the conclusions was that the safety and precision processes are based on the precise administration of radiation doses, using advanced technologies and special protocols. | |
