| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto Burgos Ciudad Amiga de la Infancia tiene como objetivo transformar la
ciudad de Burgos en un entorno inclusivo y participativo para niños y adolescentes, priorizando
su bienestar y empoderamiento. A través de la creación de las "Mesas de Participación Infantil",
se fomenta la participación activa de los menores en la toma de decisiones sobre aspectos que
impactan su vida diaria, lo cual promueve un sentido de pertenencia y responsabilidad cívica. La
metodología de sistematización de la experiencia se ha basado en el uso del índice TRL
(Technology Readiness Level), para evaluar el grado de maduración del proyecto. Se realizaron
entrevistas, grupos focales y análisis documental para recolectar información cualitativa,
involucrando a actores clave como autoridades municipales, representantes de ONGs, docentes,
padres y los propios niños y adolescentes. Los resultados revelan que el proyecto ha avanzado
significativamente en su maduración, habiendo alcanzado niveles de validación social y
demostración de impacto en la comunidad pues los principales beneficios incluyen el
fortalecimiento de los lazos sociales, la mejora en el bienestar infantil y la creación de un modelo
replicable en otras ciudades. Este artículo presenta los hallazgos obtenidos, agrupados según las
fases del índice TRL, y ofrece recomendaciones para la sostenibilidad y escalabilidad del
proyecto a futuro. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Burgos Child-Friendly City project aims to transform the city of Burgos into an
inclusive and participatory environment for children and adolescents, prioritizing their well being and empowerment. Through the creation of "Child Participation Roundtables", the active
participation of minors in decision-making on aspects that impact their daily lives is encouraged,
which promotes a sense of belonging and civic responsibility. The methodology for
systematizing the experience has been based on the use of the TRL (Technology Readiness
Level) index, to evaluate the degree of maturity of the project. Interviews, focus groups and
documentary analysis were conducted to collect qualitative information, involving key factors
such as municipal authorities, NGO representatives, teachers, parents and the children and
adolescents themselves. The results reveal that the project has made significant progress in its
maturation, having reached levels of social validation and demonstration of impact in the
community, since the main benefits include the strengthening of social ties, the improvement in
child well-being and the creation of a replicable model in other cities. This article presents the
findings obtained, grouped according to the phases of the TRL index, and offers
recommendations for the sustainability and scalability of the project in the future. | |
