| dc.description.abstract | El Parque Nacional Natural Chiribiquete presentaba un problema de deforestación, siendo esta la principal causa de la pérdida de la masa vegetal. Este trabajo se centró en caracterizar la gestión ambiental comunitaria en el Parque, un área de gran importancia ecológica y cultural en Colombia. Asimismo, se centró en las comunidades locales y su entorno natural, a fin de comprender las dinámicas que influyen en el contexto de conservación del parque y en el bienestar de sus habitantes.
Se analizó el territorio y sus comunidades con influencia directa, lo que implicó un estudio detallado de la biodiversidad, las características geográficas y las prácticas culturales de dichas comunidades, comprendiendo el contexto socioambiental en el que se desenvolvían. Este trabajo ofreció recomendaciones concretas para fortalecer la articulación entre las comunidades locales y las entidades responsables, con el fin de orientar estrategias que integraran el bienestar de las comunidades con la protección del invaluable patrimonio natural de la región. | |

This study focused on characterizing community-based environmental management in the park, an area of great ecological and cultural importance in Colombia. It also focused on local communities and their natural environment to understand the dynamics that influence the park's conservation context and the well-being of its inhabitants.
The territory and its directly influenced communities were analyzed, which involved a detailed study of biodiversity, geographical characteristics, and the cultural practices of these communities, understanding the socio-environmental context in which they lived. This work offered concrete recommendations to strengthen the collaboration between local communities and the responsible entities, to guide strategies that integrate the well-being of the communities with the protection of the region's invaluable natural heritage. | |
