| dc.description.abstract | La gestión de transporte y distribución busca que el mundo siga en movimiento por cielo, mar y tierra. Planificar la distribución y el transporte más efectivamente para cualquier producto, para que llegue en el momento adecuado y en la mejor calidad. Garantizar que las operaciones de comercio global y sus estrategias logren abaratar los costos de la empresa. Programar las mejores rutas para superar a la competencia, usar las nuevas tecnologías y decidir cuáles son los mejores tipos de vehículos aéreos, marítimos y terrestres que mueven el futuro económico de las empresas. El objetivo de este artículo es explicar cómo funciona la gestión de distribución y transporte, gracias al cual hay una gran oportunidad de mejorarla logística de empresarios colombianos, con miras de reestructurar los procesos estratégicos, tácticos y operacionales de cada Unidad de Negocio, para que estas organizaciones sean más competitivas, y que puedan enfrentar los tratados de libre comercio, brindando mayor sostenibilidad y óptimo nivel de servicio. | spa |
