| dc.description.abstract | El presente ensayo pretende reconocer la función social de la Asociación para el Desarrollo
Integral de la Mujer, la Niñez y la Familia Manos Unidas, en la edificación de redes de
relaciones comunicacionales y la reconstrucción del tejido social de los habitantes del
Barrio San Pedro en el Municipio de Madrid en Cundinamarca, a través de la restitución de
la memoria ancestral, la trasmisión oral de las tradiciones gastronómicas y culturales de
esta comunidad y la sororidad de sus asociadas. Es necesario entonces, descubrir cuales
son aquellos medios sociales comunicativos de “Manos Unidas” que se han puesto al
servicio de la mujer, el adulto mayor, niños, niñas y adolescentes como sujetos activos,
para la reivindicación y empoderamiento digno y soberano de actividades culturales que
aportan a la construcción social, subsistencia y bienestar de los habitantes. | spa |

Development of Women, Children and the Family Manos Unidas, in the construction of
networks of communicational relations and the reconstruction of the social fabric of the
inhabitants of the San Pedro neighborhood in the Municipality of Madrid in Cundinamarca,
through the restitution of the ancestral memory, the oral transmission of the gastronomic
and cultural traditions of this community and the sorority of its associates. It is necessary
then, to discover what are the communicative social media of "Manos Unidas" that have
been put at the service of women, the elderly, children and adolescents as active subjects,
for the dignified and sovereign claim and empowerment of cultural activities that contribute
