| dc.description.abstract | El español es una lengua romance que procede del latín. Su origen se remonta al reino de Castilla, un reino que existió en la península ibérica. Es la cuarta lengua más hablada del mundo luego del chino-mandarín, inglés e hindi. También es la tercera lengua más hablada en internet luego del mandarín y el inglés. Su mayor influencia y dominio está en el continente americano en donde cuenta con casi el 90% de hablantes. México y Estados Unidos encabezan la lista de países con más hablantes de español, seguidos de Colombia quien se encuentra ubicado en la tercera posición.
El proyecto tiene como finalidad, principalmente, mostrar a docentes, estudiantes y demás participantes activos de contextos académicos, cual es el papel que el español desempeña en el proceso de aprendizaje de un segundo idioma, en el caso de este proyecto: inglés. También se busca concientizar a los estudiantes sobre la importancia de aprender el contexto de un idioma que se está aprendiendo y reconocer desde una perspectiva crítica que no podemos desarrollar las habilidades comunicativas de la misma manera en que las desarrollamos en nuestra lengua materna.
Por otra parte, el proyecto busca concientizar al lector sobre aquellos puntos importantes que deben ser tenidos en cuenta por el aprendiz durante el proceso de aprendizaje de un segundo idioma. Por consiguiente, es de vital importancia que el lector reconozca y determine las habilidades lingüísticas que posee sobre el dominio de su lengua materna y reflexione sobre su nivel de dominio, para que sea autoconsciente de las acciones que deberá realizar con la finalidad de prever inconvenientes en su futuro proceso de adquisición de una segunda lengua. Todo esto partiendo del hecho que hay una conexión bidireccional entre el dominio de la lengua materna y el dominio que podrá ser adquirido por el aprendiz.
Adicionalmente a este factor, debemos entender que el español es un idioma que tiene un nivel de complejidad bastante alto y que dominarlo requiere de habilidades lingüísticas buenas, de hecho, luego de realizado el estudio algunos factores mostraron que cuando un estudiante tiene un nivel de dominio bajo en su lengua materna, puede presentar dificultades durante su proceso de aprendizaje. | |

The purpose of the project is, mainly, to show teachers, students and other active participants from academic contexts, what is the role that Spanish plays in the process of learning a second language, in the case of this project: English. It also seeks to make students aware of the importance of learning the context of a language that is being learned and to recognize from a critical perspective that we cannot develop communication skills in the same way that we develop them in our mother tongue.
On the other hand, the project seeks to make the reader aware of those important points that must be considered by the learner during the process of learning a second language. Therefore, it is of vital importance that the reader recognizes and determines the linguistic abilities that he possesses regarding the command of his mother tongue and reflects on his level of mastery, so that he is self-aware of the actions that he will have to take in order to anticipate inconveniences in your future second language acquisition process. All this because there is a bidirectional connection between the domain of the mother tongue and the domain that can be acquired by the learner.
In addition to this factor, we must understand that Spanish is a language that has a fairly high level of complexity and that mastering it requires good linguistic skills, in fact, after the study was carried out, some factors showed that when a student has a proficiency level low in his mother tongue, he may present difficulties during his learning process. | |
