    Abstract
    AbstractThis paper aims to discuss the use of electronic games in Distance Education by identifying contributions to learning and investigating how the adult audience interacts with the game. To this end, we conducted an exploratory study of qualitative approach, proposing the use of the game Saga of the Councils, developed at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, to make up the Extension Course Distance Continuing Education in School Boards to review and reinforce content covered. The use of the game was initially proposed in the face against the computer lab and then 15 course participants wereinterviewed based on a semi-structured. The results revealed that teacher students realized contributions of experience with the game for learning, highlighting the performance of cognitive abilities such as attention and reasoning. The use of the game reinforced also the main concepts discussed and favored that learning would make it more meaningful and fun.ResumenEste trabajo tiene como objetivo discutir el uso de juegos electrónicos en la educación a distancia mediante la identificación de las contribuciones para el aprendizaje y la investigación de cómo el público adulto interactúa con el juego. Para ello, se realizó un estudio exploratorio de abordaje cualitativo, que propone el uso de la saga de juegos de los Consejos, desarrollado en la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina, para compensar la Extensión Curso a Distancia Educación Continua en Juntas Escolares para revisar y reforzar contenidos cubierto.
