This applied project was carried out, with the purpose of analyzing and documenting the efficiency of the application of bocashi prepared based on banana stem, compared with the effects generated by the 10-4-14 banana fertilizer in banana fruits of the variety Gros Michel, during a period of five (05) months in a previously established crop with an age of eight (08) months and to be able to determine how feasible is the use of bocashi and its benefits in terms of plant development and production. We worked with two batches of fifty (50) plants each, the first group was applied with a 10-4-14 banana fertilizer and to the second the bocashi based on banana stem, five (05) fertilizations were made and collected the following data before each application: Diameter of the stem, No. of leaves and Height of the Apex of each of the hills of the two batches under study, at the time of harvest the following variables were taken: Fruit Size, Brix Degrees and Weight; These data were tabulated so that the results could be quantified and the statistical analysis determined that there are no significant differences between the treatments for the variables: Stem Diameter, and Fruit Size, on the other hand if there are significant differences between the treatments for the variables: No. of leaves, Apex Height, Brix Degrees and Weight.
