| dc.description.abstract | El documento presenta los resultados de la monografía de investigación para optar al título
de Magister en Desarrollo Alternativo, Sostenible y Solidario, la cual tuvo por objetivo determinar
el estado de la investigación en Educación Ambiental (EA) en instituciones de educación primaria,
secundaria y superior en Colombia durante el periodo 2010–2020, en el marco del Desarrollo
Sostenible; para lograr este propósito se indagó información a través de fuentes secundarias como
artículos científicos, trabajos de grado, entre otros, publicados en revistas especializadas y
repositorios universitarios entre 2010-2020 con área de desarrollo en Colombia, tomando la
variable EA combinada con desarrollo sostenible, sector educativo, normatividad vigente;
Obteniendo un total de 50 documentos que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. Dentro de los
resultados obtenidos en la revisión se encontró que los repositorios institucionales, así como
revistas especializadas en la temática, permiten identificar las investigaciones realizadas en el
periodo establecido; así mismo, se evidencio que la región andina presenta la mayor cantidad de
estudios en EA y entre 2017-2018 se realizó la mayor cantidad de investigaciones en EA en
Colombia. Igualmente se encontraron diferentes normas en EA en el país, viéndose obligadas las
instituciones educativas a cumplir con el criterio de inclusión del tema en sus currículos
académicos, pero el estudio demostró que no se tiene en cuenta este. Las instituciones educativas
se han centrado en el impacto particular de la problemática ambiental en la institución o del
profesor del área y no desde el contexto comunitario en el territorio | spa |

Magister in Alternative, Sustainable and Solidarity Development, which aimed to determine the
status of research in Environmental Education (EE) in primary, secondary and higher education
institutions in Colombia during the 2010-2020 period, within the framework of Sustainable
Development; To achieve this purpose, information was investigated through secondary sources
such as scientific articles, degree works, among others, published in specialized journals and
university repositories between 2010-2020 with the development area in Colombia, taking the EA
variable combined with sustainable development, education sector, current regulations; Obtaining
a total of 50 documents that met the inclusion criteria. Among the results obtained in the review, it
was found that institutional repositories, as well as specialized journals on the subject, allow
identifying the investigations carried out in the established period; Likewise, it was evidenced that
the Andean region presents the highest number of studies in EE and between 2017-2018 the
largest amount of research in EE was carried out in Colombia. Likewise, different EE standards
were found in the country, with educational institutions being forced to comply with the criteria
for including the subject in their academic curricula, but the study showed that this is not taken
into account. Educational institutions have focused on the particular impact of environmental
problems on the institution or the teacher in the area and not from the community context in the
