dc.description.abstract	Como opción de grado del Diplomado de Profundización se realizó el Proyecto de Motivación para Aprender el Idioma Inglés para identificar las posibles causas del bajo nivel de inglés en los alumnos del Colegio Horacio Muñoz Suescun, de la ciudad de Medellín, departamento de Antioquia. Bajo el título Diagnóstico de la Propuesta Pedagógica se describe la institución con sus características particulares y se esboza la problemática que se detalla más adelante bajo el título de Pregunta de Investigación, en el que se expone como causa principal del bajo nivel de inglés, la falta de motivación y los aspectos que pueden estar generando esa desmotivación, de acuerdo con la investigación realizada. El Marco de Referencia sustenta algunos problemas que dificultan establecer la relación entre el conocimiento teórico que adquieren los aspirantes a docentes y la práctica del ejercicio profesional en las instituciones educativas; se trata además sobre la intencionalidad de la construcción de la práctica pedagógica como un fortalecimiento de la capacidad del docente para ejecutar acciones que permitan el proceso de formación integral en el estudiante; finalmente en este marco se explica la metodología que se plantea para el desarrollo de la propuesta. El título Producción de Conocimiento Pedagógico desarrolla el análisis y discusión, se identifican los componentes que intervienen en el éxito o fracaso de la enseñanza y aprendizaje del inglés y se plantea la importancia de atender las posibles fallas que se presenten en cada uno de ellos para llegar a cumplir la meta trazada por la institucionalidad educativa.

dc.description.abstractenglish	As a degree option of the Deepening Diploma, the Project of Motivation to Learn the English Language was carried out to identify the possible causes of the low level of English in the students of the Horacio Muñoz Suescun School, in the city of Medellin, department of Antioquia. Under the title Diagnosis of the Pedagogical Proposal, the institution is described with its characteristics and the problem is outlined, which is detailed below under the title Research Question, in which the lack of motivation and the aspects that may be generating this lack of motivation is exposed as the main cause of the low level of English, according to the research carried out. The Frame of Reference supports some problems that make it difficult to establish the relationship between the theoretical knowledge acquired by aspiring teachers and the practice of professional practice in educational institutions; it also deals with the intentionality of the construction of the pedagogical practice as a strengthening of the teacher's capacity to execute actions that allow the process of integral formation in the student; finally, this framework explains the methodology proposed for the development of the proposal. The title Production of Pedagogical Knowledge develops the analysis and discussion, the components involved in the success or failure of teaching and learning English are identified and the importance of addressing the possible failures in each of them to achieve the goal set by the educational institutions is discussed.
