| dc.description.abstract | El Liceo Val (Vida Amor Luz) está ubicado en Bogotá en la localidad de Barrios Unidos donde realizo mi proyecto de investigación: “El juego y la motivación, motores para el aprendizaje matemático en niños y niñas de la primera infancia”.
Es un colegio inclusivo. La métodologia activa y de autoaprendizaje aplicada en el Liceo, permiten organizar el trabajo académico para que los estudiantes puedan avanzar en el currículo de acuerdo con sus capacidades y ritmos de aprendizaje; y, en consecuencia, la promoción es flexible, anticipada, normal o prorrogada.
Su educación se basa en principios llamados Aprendizajes Significativos, que involucran a los padres, la Escuela, y la Comunidad entera, siendo efectivos y eficientes cuando existe el apoyo cooperativo de padres, planta de profesores y dirección administrativa; ya que la atmósfera en las instalaciones del colegio está determinada por el cuerpo estudiantil, que establece una diferencia entre lo que el alumno es capaz de hacer y aprender por sí solo y lo que es capaz de hacer y aprender con la ayuda de otras personas.
El Liceo V.A.L. incluye a niñas, niños y jóvenes con discapacidades, neurotípicos y con talentos excepcionales en el aula, para que trabajen en un currículo común o diferenciado aplicado estrategias pedagógicas que tengan en cuenta sus características individuales apoyando sus necesidades.
Cada estudiante tiene un estilo y un ritmo de aprendizaje propio, los cuales deben ser respetados para llegar a ser autónomos partiendo de su propia responsabilidad De igual manera, el Liceo V.A.L. vela por el cumplimiento del Artículo 18 de la Ley de infancia y adolescencia que promulga “El derecho a la integridad personal” proporcionándole a sus estudiantes protección contra acciones o conductas que atenten contra su seguridad física mental o psicológica garantizando el bienestar de todos los estudiantes primando así, el bien común sobre el bien particular.
En el Liceo V.A.L. existe el respecto por la autoridad y las normas para exigir ciertos comportamientos, con el fin de lograr la diligencia académica y la convivencia apropiada.
Con esta metodología el Liceo cumple treinta años de labores académicos

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Liceo Val (Life, Love, Light) school is located in Bogotá in the town of Barrios Unidos where I carry out my research project: "Play and motivation, engines for mathematical learning in children of early childhood".
It is an inclusive school. The active and self-learning methodology applied at the Liceo allows the organization of academic work, so that students can advance in the curriculum according to their abilities and learning rhythms and, consequently, promotion is flexible, anticipated, normal or extended.
Their education is based on principles called Significant Learning that involves parents, the school, and the entire community, being effective and efficient when there is the cooperative support of parents, teachers, and administrative management, since the atmosphere in the school facilities it is determined by the student body, which makes a difference between what the student is able to do and learn on their own and what they are able to do and learn with the help of others.
The Liceo VAL includes girls, boys and young people with disabilities, neurotypical people and with exceptional talents in the classroom, so that they work on a common or differentiated curriculum applied pedagogical strategies that take into account their individual characteristics supporting their needs.
Each student has their own learning style and rhythm, which must be respected, in order to become autonomous based on their own responsibility In the same way, the Liceo VAL ensures compliance with Article 18 of the Law on childhood and adolescence that it enacts “The right to personal integrity” providing its students with protection against actions or behaviors that threaten their physical, mental or psychological safety, guaranteeing the well-being of all students, thus prioritizing the common good over the individual good.
At the Liceo VAL there is respect for authority and rules to demand certain behaviors, in order to achieve academic diligence and appropriate coexistence.
With this methodology, the Liceo celebrates 30 years of academic work.
