| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto de investigación se enfoca en hacer un seguimiento al problema de la deserción escolar en el municipio de Guadalajara de Buga, municipio que al igual que otras localidades del Valle del Cauca y de Colombia ha sido afectado por una alta tasa de estudiantes que abandonan las aulas, pero más allá de determinar las causas de la deserción se busca es analizar la efectividad de las estrategias que se han diseñado e implementado desde la secretaria de educación municipal en asocio con rectores y docentes delas instituciones educativas de carácter oficial para atraer a los estudiantes, garantizar que se matriculen y que puedan culminar sus estudios en los diferentes niveles de formación. La investigación se realizó al interior de la Institución Educativa San Vicente la cual ha sido una de las instituciones más reconocidas y preferidas por los padres y estudiantes bugueños, pero en el periodo comprendido entre los años 2018 a 2020 principalmente a raíz de la pandemia y de la modalidad virtual de educación enfrentó el retiro de muchos estudiantes algunos de los cuales ya están regresando a las aulas motivados por las estrategias diseñadas para tal fin. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This research project focuses on monitoring the problem of school dropout in the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga, a municipality that, like other localities in Valle del Cauca and Colombia, has been affected by a high rate of students leaving the classroom, but beyond determining the causes of dropout, it seeks to analyze the effectiveness of the strategies that have been designed and implemented. From the municipal education secretary in partnership with rectors and teachers of official educational institutions to attract students, ensure that they enroll and that they can complete their studies at different levels of training. The research was carried out within the San Vicente Educational Institution which has been one of the most recognized and preferred institutions by parents and students from Bugueños, but in the period between 2018 and 2020 mainly as a result of the pandemic and the virtual modality of education faced the withdrawal of many students some of whom are already returning to the classrooms motivated by the strategies designed for this purpose. | |
