El estudio preliminar de la agrobiodiversidad en la Escuela Campesina de Agroecología (ECA) de San Rafael, municipio de Tuluá analizó las diferentes formas de conservación, manejo y uso de la agrobiodiversidad, desde la perspectiva del ámbito material, social y espiritual en la vida cotidiana de la comunidad. La agrobiodiversidad es un concepto que hace referencia al número de especies de cultivo, de animales domésticos, de razas y sus variedades locales, y de los conocimientos y las técnicas de manejo de los paisajes que hacen las comunidades. En la investigación se empleó la metodología Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP) la cual considera a los campesinos como sujetos de investigación, lo que posibilita el conocimiento de la realidad concreta. La aplicación del Enfoque Histórico Lógico Cultural (HLC) y la Investigación Participativa Revalorizadora (IPR) permitieron estudiar, comprender, analizar y revalorizar la cultura, la historia, el territorio y la agrobiodiversidad de forma integral. Como resultado de la investigación se levantó un diagnóstico e inventario de la agrobiodiversidad los cuales generaron un plan de manejo y conservación de la agrobiodiversidad. Igualmente, a través del diálogo de saberes se revalidó el saber y conocimiento sobre la agrobiodiversidad de la escuela campesina.The agrobiodiversity`s preliminary research in San Rafael’s Agroecology Peasant School of San Rafael in the Municipality of Tulua (Colombia) permitted us to analyze the different ways of agrobiodiversity conservation, management and use, from the material, social and spiritual scope perspective in the community’s daily life. The agrobiodiversity is a concept that makes a reference to the number of cultivation species, domestic animals, breeds, and their local varieties, and knowledge and the techniques of the view management that make up our communities. For the development of the investigation, the Participative Action Research methodology (IAP) which considers peasants as an objective of research making the knowledge of the concrete reality possible. The application of the (HLC) Cultural Logic Historic Focus and the (IPR) Participative Research permitted us to study, understand,analyze and revalue the culture, history, territory and the agrobiodiversity in an integral way as a result of the research, a diagnosis and inventory of the agrobiodiversitywhich generated a management plan and conservation of the agrobiodiversity however through knowledge and communication interchange a revalidation on knowledge and information was done about the agrobiodiversity of the peasant school.
