| dc.description.abstract | La ganadería bovina en el Departamento de Nariño se ha consolidado con el paso de los años a pesar de dichas dificultades, pero aún se mira el atraso de la ganadería en el sector ganadero que es la fuente más importante de la región, por ello, Fedegan-FNG ha contribuido con el mejoramiento de la productividad ganadera en Nariño con convenios y asociaciones para apoyar a los ganaderos a que se han más sostenibles y piensen en empresa.
El presente trabajo de pasantía de la UNAD tiene como objetivo apoyar al fortalecimiento del sector ganadero a través de las activadas que realiza la coordinación de Nariño con SENA Nariño, Agrosavia, CIAT, secretaria de agricultura y mesa regional que son actividades presenciales y promovidas en la cadena láctea y cárnica de la región con formulación de proyectos y desarrollo de modelos de ganadería sostenible, salud y bienestar animal.
Por otra parte, el trabajo de campo incluye la concientización de los ganaderos aplicando el concepto de ganadería sostenible, salud y bienestar animal, manejo de suelos, manejo de sistemas silvopastoriles, aforos de potreros, elaboración de bloques multinutricionales, cadena láctea, cambio climático, certificación por competencias en ordeño y gira ganadera, como, además ayudar a mejorar de manera positiva al productor nariñense y al medio ambiente. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | Cattle ranching in the Department of Nariño has been consolidated over the years despite these difficulties, but there is still a backwardness in the livestock sector which is the most important source of the region, therefore, Fedegan-FNG has contributed to the improvement of livestock productivity in Nariño with agreements and partnerships to support farmers to become more sustainable and think about business.
The objective of this UNAD internship is to support the strengthening of the livestock sector through the activities carried out by the Nariño coordination with SENA Nariño, Agrosavia, CIAT, secretary of agriculture and the regional roundtable, which are face-to-face activities promoted in the dairy and meat chain in the region with project formulation and development of sustainable livestock models, health and animal welfare.
On the other hand, the field work includes raising awareness of farmers by applying the concept of sustainable livestock farming, animal health and welfare, soil management, management of silvopastoral systems, paddock gauging, development of multi-nutritional blocks, dairy chain, climate change, certification of milking skills and livestock tour, as well as helping to positively improve the Nariño producer and the environment. | |
