| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto aplicado tiene como objetivo investigar el funcionamiento cognitivo durante la vejez. Para abordar esta problemática, se propone una estrategia para fortalecer el funcionamiento cognitivo en personas mayores. La metodología que será implementada incluye la detección de posibles déficits cognitivas, la planificación de acciones para su mejora y la ejecución de intervenciones específicas. Es un proyecto aplicado, se realizará mediante un enfoque de investigación cualitativo, para una comprensión completa del problema.
Además, el proyecto se enmarca en la psicología cognitiva, lo que implica que se utilizarán teorías y técnicas de esta disciplina para comprender mejor los procesos cognoscitivos implicados y diseñar intervenciones efectivas. Se espera que este enfoque multidisciplinario al abordar al ser humano en sus procesos internos y conducta permita desarrollar estrategias más completas y personalizadas para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas mayores y prevenir o retrasar el deterioro cognitivo asociado con la edad. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of this applied project is to investigate cognitive functioning during old age. To address this problem, a strategy is proposed to strengthen cognitive functioning in older people. The methodology that will be implemented includes the detection of possible cognitive deficits, the planning of actions for their improvement and the execution of specific interventions. It is an applied project, it will be carried out using a qualitative research approach, for a complete understanding of the problem.
Furthermore, the project is framed in cognitive psychology, which implies that theories and techniques from this discipline will be used to better understand the cognitive processes involved and design effective interventions. It is expected that this multidisciplinary approach by addressing human beings in their internal processes and behavior will allow the development of more complete and personalized strategies to improve the quality of life of older people and prevent or delay cognitive decline associated with age. | |
