| dc.description.abstract | Este documento es el resultado de un ejercicio de investigación formativa, desarrollado como
opción de grado, que permitió reflexionar sobre la práctica pedagógica y la investigación
educativa. El estudio se llevó a cabo en el Centro Educativo Mis Primeras Letras, ubicado en el
municipio de Aguachica, Cesar, trabajando con 16 estudiantes de cuarto grado. El objetivo
general fue fortalecer el desarrollo de las habilidades de listening y speaking mediante la
implementación de estrategias didácticas comunicativas e interactivas durante el año lectivo
2026, utilizando un enfoque cualitativo bajo un diseño de investigación acción pedagógica, en el
que se implementaron dichas estrategias didácticas, reconociendo sus efectos en la confianza
comunicativa y la actitud de los estudiantes frente al uso del idioma inglés. A partir de esta
investigación, se concluyó que la aplicación de dichas estrategias generó avances significativos
en el desarrollo de las habilidades de listening y speaking, así como en la motivación,
participación y seguridad de los estudiantes al expresarse en inglés. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This document is the result of a formative research project, undertaken as part of a degree course,
which provided an opportunity to reflect on teaching practice and educational research. The
study was conducted at the Centro Educativo Mis Primeras Letras, located in the municipality of
Aguachica, Cesar, with 16 fourth-grade students. The overall objective was to strengthen the
development of listening and speaking skills through the implementation of communicative and
interactive teaching strategies during the 2026 academic year, using a qualitative approach
within a pedagogical action research design, in which these teaching strategies were
implemented, recognising their effects on students’ communicative confidence and attitude
towards the use of the English language. Based on this research, it was concluded that the
application of these strategies led to considerable progress in the development of listening and
speaking skills, as well as in the students’ motivation, participation and confidence when
expressing themselves in English. | |
