| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Gray mold is a pathogen caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea, it is classified as a disease of importance due to the extensive damage caused worldwide to a wide variety of crops of economic interest. In recent years and according to the huge demand for food and to meet the needs of the population, this pathogenic fungus has been controlled with chemical fungicides to which the fungus generates resistance, reducing its effectiveness, causing a higher dose of the product or the application of products more sources, caused harmful damage to the environment and human health, which motivates to look for effective biological control agents in the fight against Botrytis cinerea. In the present research project it was tried to find halophilic and halotolerant microorganisms coming from thermal waters of the municipalities of Guasca, Choachí and Tabio in the Department of Cundinamarca; with antagonistic capacity for Botrytis cinerea, initially implementing a sampling mechanism at each point to be later analyzed, cultured and isolated in selective culture media, for the identification and classification of the microorganisms present in the sample. Subsequently, through bibliographic consultation and in-vitro and in-plant tests, the antagonistic capacity of some of the microorganisms found was determined, to perform the biological control of this pathogenic fungus. | spa |
