The project seeks to implement a treatment system through which the sludge extracted from the septic tank of La Plata farm, La Argentina village, municipality of La Tebaida Quindío, can be used in order to achieve functional utility from them. reduce the load of pollutants. The process to be implemented consists in the generation of a treatment train that suggests the construction of a drying bed where the sludge will be deposited directly; thus, having a drainage system will help to separate the liquids which will be treated anaerobically by means of an anaerobic filter of upward flow FAFA or also called anaerobic reactor; reducing its organic matter according to studies carried out by Young Mccarty (1969) in about 80%, counting that the septic system where said sludge comes from has already been treated, thus arriving at a final disposal by means of ditches of infiltration or absorption well, depending on the level of infiltration of the soil. The present project in its second instance in the use of environmental conditions of the characteristics of the municipality of La Tebaida where its average temperature is 29 ° c, poses the biological degradation of the sludge extracted during the execution of the first phase of the project until reaching a stable final process that allows to achieve its usefulness. However, although there are different methods or technologies to transform compost, the method discussed here will be done on inverted batteries, which consists of making parallel piles where they are periodically turned in order to supply air to carry out their process and to be necessary the use of rice husks or sawdust in order to reduce their weight and at the same time to optimize the aeration process, it is noteworthy that the result will be used as fertilizer input for the farm and its crops. This process is intended to be carried out in a period of 5 months beginning with phase one called phase 1: studies and designs; in order to establish the most optimal capacity, continuing with a phase 2 construction of the plant that will receive the sludge extracted from the septic tank of the La Plata farm and in turn continuously monitoring its behavior and the final characterization of the vertimiento like of the compost with the purpose of determining if it manages to reduce the levels of BOD, COD and to establish a compost suitable for its agricultural usespa
