dc.description.abstractenglishMathematics as a deductive logical science that studies what it can represent and describe in an abstract way, is very useful and applicable for all areas of knowledge and any educational level, since it allows to reach an exact result (if it is correct) without import race, ethnicity or different cultural characteristics of people, that is, mathematics is a universal language. However, during the evolution of humanity, it has been seen that for some people it is easier to understand mathematics than for others, so much so that great geniuses such as Gauss and number theory, Leibniz and infinitesimal calculus, Euler differ and the analysis, among others; of people who do not finish finishing their university studies because of not passing a subject in this science. This is why an exhaustive analysis is carried out through the bibliographic compilation of all the causes that have determined different studies of why for some people according to their beliefs it is easier or harder to learn and develop this science and then conclude what are the main causes and what strategies we could begin to implement in Colombia.
