dc.description.abstract	La microcuenca La Pava es una fuente hídrica que nace en el Resguardo Playas del Bojaba en el Municipio de Saravena, Departamento Arauca y es de vital importancia para muchas veredas como principal afluente. Se comporta como un sistema, complejo y abierto, el cual presenta interacciones entre los componentes sociales, económicos y ecológicos que inciden en la disponibilidad de sus recursos naturales y por tanto en el bienestar de las poblaciones que habitan la misma. En este sentido, este estudio se enfocó principalmente en el impacto que ha tenido las diferentes actividades antrópicas de los colonos sobre los ecosistemas que se encuentran dentro la parte media de la microcuenca La Pava. Se realizó identificación del lugar, indagación de las causas y consecuencias que han generado impactos ambientales negativos que nos permitió obtener información primaria y secundaria para la realización de un diagnóstico ambiental, que incluyó análisis económico, social, cultural y ambiental observando la disminución del agua de algunas comunidades, y la alteración del equilibrio tanto en elementos bióticos como abióticos. dc.description.abstractenglish	The micro basin a the Pava is a water source that originates from the Playas del Bojaba Reserve in the Municipality of Saravena, department of Arauca and is of vital importance to many towns as the main tributary. It behaves as a complex and open system, which presents interactions between the social, economic and ecological components that affect the availability of its natural resources and, therefore, the well-being of the populations that inhabit it. In this sense, this study focused mainly on the impact that the different anthropic activities of the settlers have had on the ecosystems that are in the middle part of the La Pava gorge. The identification of the place, the investigation of the causes and consequences that have generated negative environmental impacts, allowed us to obtain primary and secondary information to carry out an environmental diagnosis, which included economic, social, cultural and environmental analyzes, observing the decrease in water potable of some communities, and the alteration of the balance in biotic and abiotic elements. For this work, the Leopold matrix and the Arboleda methodology were used.	spa
