| dc.description.abstract | La investigación se basa en analizar el panorama socio ambiental de los humedales en la zona urbana de la ciudad de Villavicencio, ya que son ecosistemas estratégicos y hábitat para diferentes especies nativas como migratorias, reguladores del microclima, prevención de inundaciones, suministro de recurso hídrico y alimentación, por lo que requiere un cuidado y compromiso de parte de la ciudadanía para su conservación. Los humedales urbanos de Villavicencio han sido objeto de degradación por acciones antrópicas que han acabado con la cobertura vegetal de estas zonas, en donde le han dado prioridad a actividades agropecuarias, construcciones legales e ilegales, disposición de residuos sólidos, la cual ha ocasionado la perdida biodiversidad destruyendo el hogar de muchas especies que habitan allí, lo cual evidencia desconocimiento del valor natural de estos ecosistemas para el desarrollo sostenible de la capital de Meta, como también la laxa protección de las entidades territoriales. Es por ello que con material bibliográfico como insumo principal se hará un análisis sobre el actual panorama que presenta los humedales en la ciudad de Villavicencio, resaltando la importancia y beneficios de ellos, como también lo determinantes que son para combatir el cambio climático y alcanzar los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The research is based on analyzing the socio-environmental panorama of the wetlands in the urban area of the city of Villavicencio, since they are strategic ecosystems and habitat for different native species such as migratory, microclimate regulators, flood prevention, supply of water resources and food, so it requires care and commitment on the part of citizens for its conservation. The urban wetlands of Villavicencio have been subject to degradation due to anthropic actions that have destroyed the vegetation cover of these areas, where priority has been given to agricultural activities, legal and illegal construction, solid waste disposal, which has caused the loss biodiversity destroying the home of many species that live there, which shows ignorance of the natural value of these ecosystems for the sustainable development of the capital of Meta, as well as the lax protection of territorial entities. That is why, with bibliographic material as the main input, an analysis will be made of the current panorama presented by wetlands in the city of Villavicencio, highlighting their importance and benefits, as well as their determinants in combating climate change and achieving sustainable development goals. | |
