dc.description.abstract	El objetivo de este trabajo consistió en identificar en las definiciones y las características esenciales de la agroforestería y la agroecología, las relaciones existentes entre éstas a partir de sus similitudes y diferencias. Para lograr este objetivo se abordaron diferentes definiciones teniendo como referencia textos producidos en Latinoamérica, textos en idioma español y portugués, y textos más citados dentro del portal de búsqueda Google Académico, también se demarcaron las similitudes y diferencias, debido a que se identificó que, entre estas dos alternativas de producción agropecuaria, se pueden generar ambigüedades lo que supone una confusión para quienes se interesen por conocer sus definiciones. finalmente se concluyó que existe una yuxtaposición como relación entre estos dos conceptos.

dc.description.abstractenglish	The objective of this work was to identify the definitions and essential characteristics of agroforestry and agroecology, the relationships between them based on their similarities and differences. To achieve this objective, different definitions were addressed, taking as reference texts produced in Latin America, texts in Spanish and Portuguese, and the most cited texts within the Google Scholar search portal, similarities and differences were also demarcated, since it was identified that, Between these two alternatives of agricultural production, ambiguities can be generated, which is confusing for those who are interested in knowing their definitions.
