| dc.description.abstract | En este proyecto de investigación, busca reconocer el uso de estrategias educativas de los
docentes del colegio Espíritu Santo Marianista del municipio de Girardot, este va orientado a
aportar al fortalecimiento de la educación inclusiva en niños y niñas con Síndrome de Down. Por
lo cual, se hace una recolección de la información sobre fortalezas y debilidades presentadas en
los procesos de acompañamientos que se realizan a los estudiantes, de esta forma proponer
acciones para el mejoramiento continuo de la educación inclusiva a partir de dichas necesidades
de aprendizaje y las características propias de los estudiantes.
Así mismo, se implementó la metodología de enfoque de investigación mixta, cuya población
fueron un total de 40 docentes de la institución educativa y la muestra de trabajo fueun total de
17 docentes que realizan su trabajo con los niños y niñas con síndrome de Down, haciendo uso
del muestreo probabilístico por conveniencia, de este modo, para obtener la información se
realiza a través del cuestionario cerrado de escala tipo Likert y la entrevista semiestructurada, el
cual tiene como fin recolectar la información acerca del manejo que realizan los docentes a los
diferentes aspectos de la educación inclusiva en el colegio y cómo contribuye de esta manera al
proceso de los niños y niñas con síndrome de Down.
Finalmente, según sus hallazgos encontrados los resultados principales son la necesidad de
fortalecer la educación inclusiva a través de acciones de capacitación docente, estrategias de
acompañamiento que favorezcan el desarrollo intelectual, emocional, motriz y social de los niños
con síndrome de Down del colegio Espíritu Santo Marianista. De la misma manera es
evidenciada, la necesidad de vincular a los padres de familia en las acciones y estrategias
propuestas en las aulas de clase, ya que se requiere un trabajo articulado para lograr los objetivos
propuestos. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | In this research project, it seeks to recognize the use of educational strategies by the teachers of
the Espíritu Santo Marianista school in the municipality of Girardot, this is aimed at contributing
to the strengthening of inclusive education in boys and girls with Down Syndrome. Therefore, a
collection of information is made on strengths and weaknesses presented in the accompaniment
processes that are carried out with the students, in this way proposing actions forthe continuous
improvement of inclusive education based on said learning needs and the characteristics of the
students.
Likewise, the mixed research approach methodology was implemented, whose population was a
total of 40 teachers from the educational institution and the work sample was atotal of 17
teachers who carry out their work with children with Down syndrome, making use of
probabilistic sampling for convenience, in this way, to obtain the information, it is carried out
through the closed Likert-type scale questionnaire and the semi-structured interview, which has
the purpose of collecting information about the management that teachers carry out to the
different aspects of inclusive education at school and how it contributes in this way to the
process of children with Down syndrome.
Finally, according to the findings, the main results are the need to strengthen inclusive education
through teacher training actions, accompanying strategies that favor the intellectual, emotional,
motor and social development of children with Down syndrome at the Espíritu Santoschool.
