| dc.description.abstract | El estudio titulado "Incidencia de la brecha intergeneracional en el comportamiento organizacional" se enfoca en analizar cómo las diferencias entre generaciones afectan la dinámica dentro de las organizaciones. Con un objetivo general que busca comprender el impacto psicológico de estas diferencias en el comportamiento laboral, el estudio resalta las características distintivas de cada generación, desde los Baby Boomers hasta la Generación Z. Cada grupo trae consigo valores, expectativas y estilos de trabajo únicos, lo que puede generar tanto sinergias como tensiones en el entorno laboral.
A través de una metodología de análisis bibliográfico descriptivo tipo monografía que se basa en una revisión de textos especializados, artículos e investigaciones sobre el tema de las generaciones., se recogen datos sobre las características, comportamientos y formas de comunicación, motivación, toma de decisiones, colaboración y clima laboral de distintas generaciones. Los resultados indican que la comunicación entre generaciones es un factor puede llevar a conflictos, y reducción de la productividad. Sin embargo, también se identifican oportunidades para fomentar un ambiente inclusivo que aproveche las fortalezas de cada grupo generacional. El estudio propone estrategias concretas para mitigar los efectos negativos de la brecha intergeneracional. Estas incluyen talleres que promuevan la empatía y el entendimiento intergeneracional. Al implementar estas estrategias, las organizaciones pueden no solo mejorar la cohesión del equipo, sino también potenciar la innovación y la eficacia organizacional en un mundo laboral cada vez más diverso. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The study titled "Incidence of the intergenerational gap on organizational behavior" focuses on analyzing how differences between generations affect the dynamics within organizations. With an overall objective that seeks to understand the psychological impact of these differences in work behavior, the study highlights the distinctive characteristics of each generation, from Baby Boomers to Generation Z. Each group brings with it unique values, expectations and work styles. which can generate both synergies and tensions in the work environment.
Through a monograph-type descriptive bibliographic analysis methodology that is based on a review of specialized texts, scientific articles and research works on the topic of generations, data is collected on the characteristics, behaviors and forms of communication, motivation, decision making, collaboration and work environment of different generations. The results indicate that communication between generations is a factor that can lead to conflicts and reduced productivity. However, opportunities are also identified to foster an inclusive environment that takes advantage of the strengths of each generational group. The study proposes concrete strategies to mitigate the negative effects of the intergenerational gap. These include workshops that promote empathy and intergenerational understanding. By implementing these strategies, organizations can not only improve team cohesion, but also boost innovation and organizational effectiveness in an increasingly diverse world of work.
