| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación, titulado Mi superpoder: estrategia pedagógica para el fomento de la inteligencia emocional como factor protector en la primera infancia, tuvo como objetivo general valorar el impacto de una estrategia de fortalecimiento de la inteligencia emocional en la capacidad de niños y niñas de 5 a 6 años, para identificar riesgos y mejorar sus prácticas de autoprotección. Para ello, se establecieron tres objetivos específicos: identificar las habilidades de inteligencia emocional que les permiten reconocer situaciones de riesgo o vulneración de derechos, implementar una estrategia diseñada para fortalecer la inteligencia emocional promoviendo mejores prácticas de autoprotección y, evaluar la pertinencia de las actividades de inteligencia emocional implementadas para fortalecer la capacidad de los niños para identificar riesgos y aplicar prácticas de autoprotección. El estudio se desarrolló desde un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño descriptivo, estructurado en tres fases: contextualización, acción y valoración-reflexión. Los hallazgos permitieron concluir que la implementación de la estrategia contribuyó al desarrollo de habilidades como el reconocimiento de emociones y la empatía en los niños y niñas. Estas competencias resultaron fundamentales para que pudieran identificar situaciones de riesgo en su entorno y comprender las emociones asociadas, mejorando así su capacidad para tomar decisiones seguras. | |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present research project entitled "My superpower: pedagogical strategy for the promotion of emotional intelligence as a protective factor in early childhood" established as a general objective to assess the contribution of a strategy to strengthen emotional intelligence in the capacity of children aged 5 to 6 years, from an educational institution, to identify risks and improve their self-protection practices. To achieve this, three specific objectives were formulated, the first was to identify emotional intelligence skills, to recognize situations of risk or violation of rights. Next, to implement the strategy designed to strengthen emotional intelligence, improving self-protection practices. As a third specific objective, it was established to evaluate the impact of the implemented strategy on the capacity of children to identify risks and apply self-protection practices. This research project was developed under a descriptive-qualitative design, which allowed obtaining a clear vision of the activities and strategies implemented by the National Police in matters of protection and care for children and adolescents in issues related to emotional intelligence and self-protection actions. This study took into account data collection techniques and instruments such as field diaries, the matrix of observation and documentary analysis, and the semi-structured questionnaire. All of the above allowed us to gather the necessary information to finally conclude that the implementation of a strategy to strengthen emotional intelligence in early childhood allowed children to develop skills such as emotion recognition and empathy. These skills contribute significantly to children identifying risk situations in their environment and the associated emotions, which improves their ability to make safe decisions. | |
